Right, lets see if this works. As i said before, pictures arent very good, but they give an impression of the army

My General, Da Boss of the Red 'ead Tribe of the World's Edge Mountains (No name yet). The story goes he beat up some lesser gobbos (as you do when your bigger than the rest!) and demanded them to wear red hoods (Whos going to argue with a crazed Goblin with a big axe?). This is because his infamous axe (Magic Item Martogs Best Basher - stated in the book as an old Dwarf Axed covered in Blood - which mine is too!) was taken from a Dwarf Trollslayer (A Red Headed Stunty) and he got it into his head that having a red head would make him invincible like a Trollslayer (Goblins are stupid remember), but because Night Goblins don't like bright colours, they wear dark red.

The actual truth is i wanted to give the models a bit of colour rather than just black all over. Then a basic backround came into my head with the trollslayer and his axe, and he presto! Note the Orange bearded Dwarf Skull on his banner! The axe was a simple conversion involving Night Goblin Boss 2 and cutting off his axe head and replacing it with the White Dwarfs Axe Head.

Behold Bone'ead the Shaman of the Red 'ead tribe. So called because of the bone through his nose (which you can just make out) and the huge quantity of bones he carries with him. No conversion, just a straight forward (Thats a joke, took ages to paint because of all the detail) paint job.

The whole 500 points. 58 goblins with hand weapons (Left and Right), 20 with bows (Back), 3 squigs and 2 hearders (middle) and 2 fanatics (front - the ones with big balls :-) )
The only other real conversions were the 2 herders, who have been altered with bits left over (like a flame torch from my Bretonian peasants and some spikes to create a spiked spear and a squig prodder). One of the herders also carries a Banner painted metal so it acts as a larger prodder. Each herders base has many mushrooms taken from the filed down banners for the hand weapon units for effect (and lunch maybe?)

Finally for a laugh, the way my army will spend most of its time. The hand weapons running towards the archers at the back, with squigs going wild in the middle and fanatics in the middle of it all causing carnage against my own side...

Oh yes, SUSSEX BY THE SEA! A cracking victory over our mopey whingebag Hampshire neighbours - despite some blatant cheating by them (Notice teams take after their captains? Thats what you get for hireing a whinging Australian like Shane Warne as captain)

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/cricket/counties/6276246.stm

And we are through to the Quarter Finals of the Twenty20 cup for the first time in its 5 years of existance! And it will be a home tie!

Draws tonight, come on a nice easy victory (Which probably doesnt exist)

BS walks, and so do i ! [Jul. 5th, 2007|07:09 pm]
[Current Mood | angry]
[Current Music |Fish: Return To Childhood]

Indeed,

It seems my ability to spin complete fabrications (ie lies!) and make people believe what im talking about is beoming my number one ability (not a very good thing really, and not something i should put on my CV anytime soon)
Why?
Well, when i bought my new computer about a year ago, the salesman learned i was looking to use mainly as an internet/games pc. He started going on about how i need this graphics card, or that sound card, and how my pc wouldn't even run Rome: Total War (My main game at that time). In 5 minutes i had him beliving i already had it planned out how i was going to upgrade it etc etc.
Not bad considering outside of using a PC i have no idea about things like that! Also, not bad consdering he was talking BS to (1 year down the line, the next version of Total War has come out, and it runs fine as well!)

And today, talked my tutor into completely believing that i had my coursework completely in hand and that the 2.5 weeks left to finish wasn't going to be a problem (If only she knew the truth). She currently believes all my stuff is in note form and needing transfering to report (a half truth, as half of the stuff is in note form, and the rest doesnt exist as yet)

I suppose i shouldnt be suprised, ive convinced the people i work with i dont hate their guts, nor hate the company, nor hate anything to do with them, and that i won't drop everything to get away if i pass my course...(Stored up anger, what are you suggesting? YOU WANNA FIGHT?)!

I've even talked myself into believing that Sussex can win the Twenty20 cup and that San Francisco 49ers will win the Superbowl

Now i need to BS a woman into dating me ;-)
Who me? Im a rich, succesful business man with great prospects...

Life goes on (and on, and on, and arist-on)

This has been a mad, irrelevant post bought to you by the number 666, the letters B and S, the Count who loves to count (One ah, ah, ahhhh) and the belief that there really is a dark side of the moon

Come On, let's go Space Truckin' [May. 2nd, 2007|08:31 pm]
[Current Mood | excited]
[Current Music |Deep Purple LIVE]

Well, that was a Sunday to remember! Deep Purple at the Brighton Centre

First off, whopping great queue to get in (all the way round the Odeon to the back entrance to the Brighton Centre!). don't know why, think they opened the gates late, which delayed everything by about 15 minutes (not much it seems, but would annoy us no end at the end of the night).

First off, after the obligatory purchase of tour shirt (Looking at all the Europe venues on the back, Madrid, Edinburgh, London - Brighton just
doesn't stack up with them!), and a swift pint, and off to see the first
warm up act Thin Lizzy.

Bloody brilliant, started off with a Jailbreak alarm which lead
into...Jailbreak!

Set List:
Jailbreak
Waiting For An Alabye
Don't Believe A Word
Are You Ready
Cold Sweat
Emerald
Suicide
Cowboy
The Boys Are Back In Town

next up at 9:00 Styx. God, what crap. Left after 3 songs and spent the
rest of the time at the bar, with what can only be described as an
increasing number of people, many voicing the fact they were getting bored with the act as well! (Their keyboardist maybe skilled, but man did he act like a complete tosser)

9:20 and the moment we've all been waiting for, its Purple time!

Set List:
Pictures From Home
Things I Never Said
Into The Fire
Strange Kind Of Woman
Rapture of The Deep
Fireball
Steve Morse Guitar Solo
Beethovan's 9th
When A Blind Man Cries
Don Airey Keyboard Solo
Lazy
The Battle Rages On
Space Trukin'
Highway Star
Smoke On the Water
Oh I Do Want To Be Beside The Seaside
Hush

Absolutely AMAZING, and i thought Steve Morse was a good guitarist.
Changed my mind, he's an F'ing Guitar GOD! That solo was outstanding.

Now for where the 15 minutes robed us. Half way through first encore song(Hush, hush, thought i heard you calling my name...), we had to go. Bloody last train west was 11:13 from Brighton, so at 10:50, and at a very brisk pace, we set off after an excellent concert (despite the dip for the second act).

Home 12:30, perfect to catch the highlights of the Somerset innings (which we left just before it started) in the Sussex vs Somerset game. which Sussex won :-) Perfect ending!
